Am I the only one who swore off paid site blockers until a $12 yard sign flipped my thinking?
I used to think paying for a blocker app was a total waste since browser add-ons are free. Then a neighbor in Toledo told me she taped a simple STOP sign on her monitor for her home office, and it cut her scrolling by half. I laughed at first, but after blowing $90 on a fancy app that I ignored anyway, I tried her dumb paper trick. For two weeks now I keep a bright orange sign taped right below my webcam, and I close Twitter tabs way faster. It sounds silly, but seeing that word in my face beats any timer. Does anyone else use physical signs or objects to block apps, or is it just me and my weird neighbor?
