6 months ago I kept my phone in my pocket at work. Now I lock it in my car trunk during shifts.
I work at a warehouse in Phoenix where we pack orders. Used to check my phone every 15 minutes for texts or social media. Felt like I couldn't focus on anything. Back in January I started leaving my phone in the glove box before clocking in. First week was rough, felt like I was missing something. But now I get through my orders way faster and my manager actually commented I was moving better. Has anyone else tried locking their phone somewhere inconvenient like a car or locker?

Maybe you're saving a lot on phone battery cycles too.

You know what, I used to be one of those people who rolled my eyes at stuff like this. Thought it was just another waste of time trend. But honestly, this actually makes a ton of sense when you think about it. The way I look at my phone now is totally different after reading your take. It's not just about saving battery, it's about not being chained to the thing all day. I mean, how many times have we all picked up our phone for no reason at all and just drained it? This kind of mindset shift could really help people break that habit without even trying.
