Update: I painted a canvas to match my couch and now my living room looks like a hospital waiting room
I hung a big blank canvas on my wall back in March and stared at it for 6 weeks. My sister joked it looked like a giant bandage, so I mixed some beige paint from a sample jar to cover it up. Two coats later the thing finally matched my wrong-beige couch and killed all the warmth in the room. Has anyone else made a wall piece that ended up looking worse than the empty wall?
Oh man, beige on beige is a bold move and I respect the commitment but wow. My question is what made you pick beige in the first place, was it just the sample jar you had sitting around or were you actually trying to calm the room down? Because six weeks of staring at a blank wall usually means your gut was telling you something, so I wonder if the real problem started before the paint even came out.
