Serious question, should I just leave my kitchen wall blank forever after this?

So last Saturday I spent 4 hours hanging a gallery wall in my kitchen, 9 frames with mats and everything. Leveled each one twice with a laser level, measured 3 inches between each frame. Stepped back to admire it and realized I hung the whole thing 2 feet too high because I was standing on a step stool. Now there's 15 holes in my wall and I'm thinking maybe empty walls are just easier for my mental health. Anyone else ever put in all that work and then just stared at it wondering what went wrong?

Spackle and hang it lower. Learn to call it a mulligan.

The whole "mulligan" thing reminds me of this time I tried to hang a shelf in my garage and ended up drilling through a water pipe. My wife still brings it up at family dinners. I patched the drywall with duct tape and called it "rustic." Now every time I pick up a level, she asks if I need a priest instead. Honestly, hanging something lower just means you have two holes to look at instead of one. Spackle is just fancy word for "hope in a tub." I'd rather buy a bigger frame and call it a design choice.
