Old lady at Goodwill told me my empty wall looked sad, she was right

Last month I was buying frames at the Goodwill off 82nd Ave and this older woman pointed at the photo I was holding of my beige living room wall. She said that wall needs a story, not a decoration, and handed me a beat-up landscape painting from the rack. I laughed it off but hung it anyway since it cost 4 dollars, and now every time I walk past I remember her exact voice. Made me wonder if anyone else has gotten unsolicited wall advice from a stranger that actually worked out?
