My 3M strip pulled paint off my wall after 2 months and I had to patch it
Hung a lightweight canvas print with a 3M strip back in April. Took it down to move it last week and a chunk of paint came with the strip. About a 2 inch square of topcoat peeled right off the drywall. I spackled it, sanded it smooth, and now I'm stuck deciding if it's worth repainting the whole accent wall or just touching up the spot. Lesson for me is that strips work better on flat paint than semi gloss, and my wall is semi gloss. Anyone found a patch method that blends on semi gloss without repainting the whole wall?
