Hung a mirror too high and regretted it for 3 months

Last year I put up a big round mirror in my hallway right above the light switch. Thought it looked great until I realized I could only see the top of my own head in it. Everyone who came over had to stand on their toes to use it. Ended up taking it down last weekend and patched the holes. Anybody else hang something and realize later it was totally the wrong height?

Hung mine way too low in the bathroom. Could only see my chest and up so I kept bumping my forehead into it when I brushed my teeth. Moved it last week and it feels like a whole new room.

Wait, you were bumping your forehead into it? That's honestly kind of amazing. How low did you have to hang a mirror to headbutt it while brushing your teeth? I'm picturing you standing there with toothpaste foam on your chin just staring at your own neck day after day. Pretty sure that qualifies as a design choice I'd call aggressive minimalism. Three months of that is wild. I'm glad you moved it before you gave yourself a permanent bruise.
