Hung a gallery wall with cheap frames first, then swapped in nicer ones after 2 months
The $5 frames from Target looked fine from across the room, but up close the plastic glare bugged me daily, so I finally replaced them with real wood options from a local shop in Portland and the depth makes the whole setup pop, has anyone else gone the budget-first route and regretted it?

Ha! I bought cheap frames once. Now I keep the nice boxes and the art is still crooked.
