Hung a gallery wall using only command strips and it actually held up for 6 months
My living room wall in my apartment looked so bare but I'm renting so I couldn't drill holes. I tried those heavy duty command strips for 8 frames and so far none have fallen. Has anyone else used them for bigger pieces or should I switch to something else for my 24x36 poster?

I did the same thing with a 24x36 poster last year and it stayed up for about 8 months before the strips gave out on a humid day. Are you putting the poster in a frame or just sticking it directly to the wall? Because the weight of the frame plus the glass really changes what strips you need.

3 of my frames fell after a bad humidity spike last summer, feel your pain @hannah385. For a 24x36 poster I'd definitely frame it first and use the velcro style command strips rated for like 16 lbs each, those hold way better than the regular sticky ones.
