Had a BAD week with my gallery wall layout

I spent 4 days measuring and re-measuring a blank 8-foot wall in my living room, only to realize I forgot to account for the light switch placement. Has anyone else wrecked their whole plan because of an outlet or switch you totally spaced on?

Did you try shifting the whole layout a few inches to one side? It sounds like the measurements might have been too tight if a standard light switch threw everything off. Sometimes leaving a bit of breathing room between frames and fixtures makes the whole thing feel more natural anyway.

Wait, you were measuring around a LIGHT SWITCH and didn't account for it taking up space? That's wild. I would have been staring at that wall for an hour second guessing every inch.
