Counted 14 blank walls in my house last weekend and I honestly didn't believe the number at first
I walked around with a notepad on Saturday and marked every bare wall I could see, and the total came to 14. That includes 3 in the hallway alone, plus the wall behind our couch that I've been staring at for 8 months. What surprised me is that 5 of them are small spots, like the 2 foot gap next to the pantry, so they might not even need real art. The big living room wall is 11 feet wide and I have zero idea what goes there without making it look like a hotel lobby. I keep going back and forth between one huge piece or a grid of 6 smaller frames, and my partner thinks a gallery wall is too busy. If you had a wall that wide, would you hang one big thing or a bunch of small ones, and how high off the floor do you go?
