Appreciation post: the empty wall at my dentist's office in Reno
I sat there last week staring at this huge bare wall above the fish tank, like 8 feet of nothing, and it got me thinking about how we all have those spots we ignore. The receptionist said they've been meaning to hang something for 3 years, but no one can agree on art. Anyone else got a wall that's been blank so long it feels weird to fill?
Disagree with the whole premise honestly. A blank wall in a waiting room is basically the last peaceful thing left in the world, no offense. Everywhere else is screaming at you with ads and posters, so maybe that empty space is doing more than any art could.
