That one critique about my hammer control flipped my whole technique
A guy at a demo in Austin watched me forge for 5 minutes and said I was 'fighting the steel instead of guiding it', so I slowed my strikes way down and started letting the hammer drop instead of forcing it. Now my leaves come out even on the first pass, anyone else had a random stranger fix a bad habit in one sentence?
