Quench oil before and after, 6 months of trying different things

Started with plain vegetable oil from the grocery store and my 1080 blades were coming out soft and warping every time. Switched to a proper Parks 50 quench oil after reading a post here, and my last batch of 5 blades came out hard enough to skate a file with zero warps. The difference was night and day, has anyone else had that big of a jump just from changing quenchant?

Zero warps on five blades after switching just the oil? That sounds like magic, tbh. I fought with vegetable oil for months and thought warping was just part of the hobby. Parks 50 really does change the game that fast if your temps were right.
