Had a long talk with a guy who patches plows near Wichita, he told me he never uses a hardie hole, just clamps everything to the edge. He said my fancy swage block was slowing me down on simple tasks, and honestly it hit different because I've been fighting with it for 3 months. Anyone else ditch a traditional tool after seeing a simpler method work in the field?

Ditch the fancy stuff, edge clamping is way faster once you try it.
