A tourist asked if my anvil was a fancy doorstop

I do demos at a little craft fair in Ohio, and this guy walked up and asked if the anvil was a 'fancy doorstop' for sale. I laughed it off but then realized he genuinely didn't know what a blacksmith did with it. Spent 10 minutes showing him the basics, how the horn shapes metal and the face is for flat work. He left saying he'd never think of a hammer and fire the same way again. It made me wonder, are we doing enough to get people curious about the trade? Has anyone else run into folks who have zero clue what this craft even involves?
