Vent: The 4 day bender I went on after watching Dark got totally derailed

I planned a whole Thursday through Sunday last month to binge Dark on Netflix. I had snacks ready, the house to myself, and zero plans. By Friday night I was already 10 episodes in and feeling great. Then my neighbor's pipe burst Saturday morning and I spent 12 hours helping him dry out his basement. I managed to finish the last 6 episodes on Sunday but I was so tired I barely remembered what happened. Has anyone else had a perfect binge plan ruined by something ridiculous like a plumbing emergency?

Echo that feeling. Had a whole weekend planned for a show and ended up helping my cousin move a couch.
