Remember how waiting a week somehow made even mediocre shows feel more important? My willpower is shot now. I tried to save the last two episodes of a season for the weekend, but caved and watched them at 2 AM on a Tuesday like a total clown.

You're right about the waiting part, but some shows actually get worse with a week between episodes. I remember watching a mystery show that dragged out clues over weeks, and by the time the next episode came, I'd forgotten half the details. Binging it later made the story way easier to follow. The hype from waiting was nice, but it didn't always make the show better.
