Subtitles turned my confusing show into a favorite
I used to get lost during political dramas because names flew by too fast. Putting on subtitles let me read along and now I'm totally hooked. Do you use any tricks to keep up with dense series?

Seriously? Subtitles make that much difference? It's just reading along, not some secret trick.

Oh, it's "just reading along" until you realize you've been hearing "secret butt dial" instead of "secret Buddhist monk" for three years. It's not a trick, it's a whole new script. Some of us need the words on screen to keep up with the mumbling and explosions. Try it, you might find out what they're actually saying.
