My wife keeps calling the main character in 'The Bear' by the wrong name
She's been binging it for a week and still calls him 'Mikey' instead of 'Carmy'. It matters because the whole show is about him dealing with his brother Mikey's death. Anyone else have a show where someone in their house can't get a key detail right?

That "Mikey" mix-up actually makes a weird kind of sense now you say it.

Right? It's one of those things that seems dumb at first but then you can't unsee it. Our brains are just pattern matching machines on autopilot. I bet the person who wrote it originally just had a brain glitch and typed the name they were thinking about. Happens all the time.
