My brother said to skip the first season of 'The Expanse' and I'm so glad I didn't listen
My older brother is usually my go-to for show advice, but he told me the first season of 'The Expanse' was a slow burn and I should just watch a recap and start with season 2. I tried that for about ten minutes and felt totally lost, like I'd walked into a movie halfway through. So I went back and watched from the start, and honestly, building up the world and meeting the crew on the Canterbury is what made me care about everything that happens later. If I'd skipped it, I wouldn't have gotten why Miller's whole deal on Ceres mattered so much. I binged all six seasons in about three weeks because I was hooked from that first mystery. Has anyone else gotten show advice that would have totally ruined the experience for you?
