Hit 500 episodes in my watch history and it made me think

I was clearing out my Netflix account last week and saw I've watched 502 shows start to finish. That's counting every season of every series I binged since 2020. Started thinking about how I used to wait a whole week for one episode of shows like Lost. Now I just plow through 8 hours of a Korean drama in a single Sunday. Anyone else ever look at their total count and get surprised by how much TV time has passed?

Wait, you actually counted all of them? I mean I feel like if I did that I'd have to come to terms with some hard truths about my life choices. Like I'd probably find out I've spent more hours watching TV than sleeping since 2020. That Korean drama thing hits home though, I started one last Friday night thinking I'd watch one episode and suddenly it's 4am and I'm crying over a love triangle I didn't even care about six hours ago. Today's world is wild, back in the day you had to actually wait for the next episode like some kind of medieval peasant waiting for bread.
