Found out my favorite sitcom had a hidden pattern across all 9 seasons

I was rewatching The Office again for the 4th time last month and noticed something weird. Every season has exactly 3 episodes where Jim looks directly at the camera within the first 5 minutes. I checked a fan wiki and it confirmed it. The creators apparently planned it as a running gag. I never caught it before because I was always scrolling my phone. Has anyone else noticed hidden patterns in shows you've watched more than once?

Wait, you're telling me Jim's "camera looks" were actually choreographed across all 9 seasons? That's way more dedication than I've ever put into anything, including my taxes (which I definitely filed on time this year, definitely). I guess the writers had more free time than I thought, or maybe they just really liked messing with eagle-eyed viewers like you. I'm almost scared to ask what other hidden stuff is buried in there, like a secret code for free pizza or something.

I get what you're saying about "eagle-eyed viewers," but I honestly don't think the writers put that much effort into planning it. They probably just noticed Jim's looks were a fan favorite early on and kept doing them without counting.
