Do you watch shows week to week or wait for the whole season to drop? Team binging vs Team slow roll
I used to be all about waiting until a whole season was out so I could crush it in a weekend. Like with Stranger Things season 3, I waited 6 months after it dropped just so I could watch it all on a Friday night with no breaks. But last year my buddy in Austin kept bugging me about The Bear and I gave in and watched week to week for season 2. Man, that changed things for me. The anticipation between episodes was actually kind of fun, and I got to talk about it with people at work instead of dodging spoilers for weeks. Now I'm torn though, because sometimes I miss the pure immersion of a full binge. Which way do you prefer for new shows, and has anything made you switch sides?

Nah Stranger Things season 3 came out July 2019, not 6 months later. You could've binged it that same weekend it dropped. The whole season was there from day one for every show Netflix puts out.

Feels like that's just how everything works now honestly. You go looking for something specific and it's already there, no waiting at all. But then you try to find a simple answer to like a small problem and you have to dig through five pages of search results. Or you order something online and it shows up in two days but getting a human on the phone to fix a billing issue takes 45 minutes. It's like the fast stuff gets faster and the slow stuff gets slower at the same time.
