A friend told me I was skipping too much setup in season 1 of The Expanse and it ruined the payoff later.

I went back and rewatched the first 4 episodes without skipping and suddenly all those character choices in season 3 made sense, has anyone else had a show click better on a rewatch after someone called them out?

Your friend was right about skipping setup" and honestly i did the same thing with Lost and it all clicked later.
