Downtown curb extensions made my commute worse, not safer
Since Portland put those 6 bulb-outs on 5th Ave last spring, cars brake harder at each one and I've nearly been doored twice because they squeeze the lane down to nothing. Am I the only one who thinks these slow everyone down without actually stopping the parked-car blind spot issue?
