Best bike lane week I've had in downtown Austin in ages
Last Tuesday through Thursday I commuted from Riverside to 6th Street and the new separated lanes on Barton Springs actually made sense. No parked cars blocking the way, no delivery vans sitting in the lane. For three days straight I didn't get honked at once by some guy in a lifted truck. Anyone else have a stretch where your city's bike infrastructure actually worked the way it should?

That "solid month of clear lanes" on W Carson Street sounds like a dream. If every city could keep their protected lanes that clean for even two weeks straight, more people would actually start using them instead of just driving.
