A bike messenger in Denver told me my elbows were the problem, not the cars
I was venting to this guy Marcus at a red light on 17th about how drivers keep buzzing me on my commute. He looked at my bars for a second and said my elbows were locked out, so I was riding wider than I thought and basically asking to get clipped. I tried bending them a bit for the last 4 miles home and it felt weird but I had way more room. Has anyone else had someone point out something about your own riding that you never noticed?
It's funny how stuff like that shows up everywhere. You get so used to your own setup that you stop seeing it, like how a friend points out you hunch over your phone or grip the wheel too tight. We're all walking around with blind spots we can't spot from the inside.
