Wasted $120 on a fancy bike light that died in 3 months

Back in 2020 I bought this sleek rechargeable light set for my morning commute in Chicago. Cost me $120 and the battery stopped holding a charge by March. Now I just use a $20 light with replaceable batteries and it's been going strong for 2 years. Anyone else get burned by expensive gear that looked good but didn't last?
