Swore I'd never use a rack bag until my shirt was soaked by the time I hit the office on 5th Street
Last Tuesday I rode into the office on 5th Street with my backpack strapped tight, and by the time I locked up my whole back was drenched in sweat (and it was only 58 degrees out). A guy locking his bike next to me said "that's the backpack, not you" and pulled a rack bag off his rear rack to show me his dry shirt. I found a $40 one at the co-op that weekend and did the same ride Monday with zero back sweat. The weight sits low on the rack and I barely feel it on the hills. Anyone else get surprised by how much a backpack was causing the sweat, or am I late to this one?
