My coworker swore a dry bag would keep my laptop dry in a downpour. He was half right.

He told me to just toss it in a dry bag and I'd be fine, but I rode through a massive storm last Tuesday and the bag held up great while everything else got soaked. The problem was the dry bag trapped the condensation so my laptop came out damp anyway. Anyone else have a trick for keeping gear dry without sealing it up tight?

Microwaving a towel for a minute works great.

Honestly, microwaving a towel just makes it damp and hot, not dry, so that trick from @ellis.jennifer is asking for trouble.
