Got caught in a surprise downpour halfway across the Ross Island Bridge
Last Tuesday the forecast said clear skies but by 7:45 am the clouds opened up about 200 yards from the bridge approach. I had my work clothes in a dry bag but my shoes were mesh and got soaked instantly. By the time I hit the office my socks were squishing and I had to do the paper towel in the shoes trick for 3 hours. What do you all do for emergency rain coverage when you don't have fenders yet? I've been putting off getting a set but this might be the push.
