Warning: a customer's comment fixed my brake bleed technique

Tbh I've been bleeding disc brakes for years the same way, never thought twice about it. Last week a guy watched me do his rear brake and said 'you're not purging the caliper side enough, you're gonna get spongy lever feel in a month.' He was right, I went back and redid it with more caliper taps and the lever felt way firmer. Anyone else had a customer or fellow mechanic call out a bad habit you didn't know you had?

Funny how a random customer can humble you in like ten seconds flat (been there, done that, still cringe thinking about it). Hope you at least charged him double for the education.
