Vent: every bike shop in Spokane has the same 3 cassette lockrings
Hit a shop crawl last Saturday to find a SRAM 11 speed lockring for a customer build. All four places had the same three: the cheap stamped one, a Shimano one that sort of fits, and a worn out one in the used bin. No one had the proper tool either, everyone said to just use a chain whip and a big flathead. Got it done but it felt like MacGyver with a greasy rag. Is this just a small city problem or do bigger metro shops actually stock the oddball stuff?

My buddy drove 40 miles to find the same three lockrings in a bigger city.
