Took me 3 hours to route a derailleur cable through a 2015 Trek Domane

I spent 90 minutes just trying to get the cable past the bottom bracket because the internal routing guide was missing, then another 90 getting it through the chainstay. Anybody else run into a seemingly simple job that turned into a half-day project?

Man that 2015 Domane internal routing is a nightmare. I remember my first time routing a cable through one, the little plastic guide tube was completely missing from the factory. Did you end up having to fish a magnet through the chainstay or did you find some other trick to get that last section done?

@tyler_hernandez did you try the old trick of taping the cable to a spoke and pushing it through from the other side?
