Switched from wet lube to wax drip after a muddy century last month

I used to be a diehard wet lube guy, thought wax was overhyped and messy. Then I did a 75-mile gravel ride in pouring rain around Portland, and by mile 40 my drivetrain sounded like a bag of bolts. Cleaned everything and tried Squirt wax drip on a whim. After 200 miles of mixed conditions, the chain is still silent and way less black gunk everywhere. It took me three degrease cycles to get all the old lube out, but now I'm sold. Anyone else switch teams and regret not doing it sooner?
