I finally stopped greasing every bolt after a seized seatpost in Phoenix

Tbh, for 6 years I greased every thread like it was gospel, then a client's seatpost welded itself into a frame we'd assembled with grease on the post. A retired frame builder in Tucson told me to check the manufacturer specs, and now I keep anti-seize on hand and only grease what the manual says. Anyone else have a seized part that made you flip your whole lube routine?
