Helped a kid fix his first flat tire today at the park

I was riding the greenway trail near my house in Austin and saw a kid maybe 10 years old struggling with a flat on his BMX. His dad was trying to help but didnt have a pump. I had my frame pump so I stopped and walked him through pulling the tire off and finding the thorn. After we got it aired up he looked at me and said "this is the coolest thing I have done all summer." Honestly that one interaction made my whole month. Has anyone else had a moment like that where one random person just made it worth it?

The quiet acts usually hit hardest because there's no expectation attached to them. Nobody's looking for a thank you or trying to make a scene, it just happens naturally. That's probably why those moments stick with people so long, they feel genuine instead of forced.
