Walked into a barbershop in Austin last week and noticed they only used one type of clipper blade
A guy there told me he gets cleaner fades by sticking to a single blade and adjusting his angle instead of swapping guards. Has anyone else tried working with less gear to speed up your cuts?

Guessing you haven't had to change a toddler's diaper with one hand while holding a coffee in the other. Guards get in the way sometimes, not worth the hassle.
