Unpopular opinion: I left my clipper oil at home and used olive oil in a pinch

I was doing a mobile cut for a client in their apartment and realized my regular oil was back at the shop. I grabbed some olive oil from their kitchen, put a drop on my blades, and the clippers ran smoother than ever for the whole cut. Has anyone else ever used a kitchen oil on their tools in an emergency?

Seriously though. Salad smell is not the end of the world. It's just lettuce and vinegar. My gym bag smells way worse. People are acting like a faint green scent is some big crisis.
