Thought those new magnetic neck strips were just a gimmick

Saw them at the barber expo in Atlanta last month and rolled my eyes, honestly. Bought a pack of 10 for like $25 just to try, figured I'd waste the cash. Used them on a kid who wouldn't sit still last week, and the snap-on magnet was way faster than fiddling with a velcro strap. Anyone have a brand they like better, or are they all pretty much the same?

The magnet strength varies a lot between brands. The cheap ones I tried first wouldn't hold a thicker cape, but the ProSnap ones have a much stronger pull. It's worth paying a couple bucks more for the good ones.

My cousin's a dog groomer and she swears by them now. She said trying to velcro a cape on a wiggly poodle was a nightmare, but the magnetic ones let her get it done in one quick motion. She even uses them to hang her tools on a metal strip by her station.
