Switched to a new shear oil and my clippers started running hot

I grabbed a bottle of 'Smooth Glide' from the supply truck last month, figured all oils were basically the same. After about three haircuts, my main clippers were almost too hot to hold. Went back to my usual Andis Cool Care plus and the temperature dropped right away. Anyone know what's in the cheap stuff that causes that much extra friction?

Totally believe it. Had the same thing happen with some off-brand stuff. Felt like holding a hot coal after one fade.
