Shoutout to cutting against the grain for sharper fades

I tried it after struggling with blurry lines and now my fades are crisp every time.

Remember watching my barber go against the grain on my last haircut and my heart just dropped. Thought for sure he was about to ruin my whole lineup. He did this thing where he barely touched the skin, just followed the hair's natural path backwards. Came out cleaner than anything I'd ever gotten before. Totally changed how I look at my own clipper work now.

No way he went against the grain on purpose! That's literally the first rule they tell you to break for a crisp line, but you gotta use so much pressure. The fact he barely touched the skin is what's blowing my mind. Tried mimicking that at home once and just gave myself razor burn for a week. Your barber must have surgeon hands or something, that's a next level technique.
