Rant: The corner comb trick that saved my 3pm slot when my clippers died mid fade
My Wahl Senior cut out right in the middle of a skin fade on a walk-in at 3pm on a packed Saturday, and the backup clippers were somewhere in my truck. I panicked for a second, then grabbed my $12 corner comb and a pack of razors. Instead of trying to fake the blend, I went the other way and turned the bottom into a sharp line, then tapered the rest by hand with the comb and scissors. It took maybe 8 extra minutes but the guy loved it and even tipped $15. The lesson is not to hide a dead clipper, just switch styles fast and make it look on purpose. Now I keep that simple corner comb in my drawer every single day. Any of you got a go to move for when your motor quits mid cut?
