My mentor in Chicago said to always charge for a beard trim, even if it's quick.

He told me, 'Your time is worth money, even for five minutes.' For years, I gave free trims to regulars, thinking it built loyalty. Then I noticed they'd book a haircut and ask for the trim, stretching my schedule. Last month, I started charging a flat $10 for any beard work, and my income went up without losing a single client. Has anyone else made this switch and seen better results?
