Guy at the supply house on 5th told me my neck strips were costing me 6 minutes a cut
Ran into Marcus, an old barber who works out of a two-chair shop off 5th in Dayton, while I was grabbing blades last Tuesday. He watched me set up and said my paper neck strips were slowing me down because I was fiddling with tape when I could use the stretchy roll, and I timed it out later that day at almost 6 minutes per cut across 9 heads. Been doing it the taped way for 11 years and never questioned it. Any of you switch to the roll kind and actually notice a difference, or is he just faster than me?
