Found a huge difference in my fade after switching clipper blades

I was using the same Wahl blade for like 8 months straight, just oiling it and hoping for the best. Then I picked up a fresh #2 blade last week, and wow... the difference was night and day. No more pulling or snagging on coarse hair, and my fade lines blended way smoother in half the time. Has anyone else noticed a big jump in quality from a simple blade swap?
