Can we talk about how I was setting my clipper blades wrong for 2 years?

I finally figured out I was zero gapping my clippers way too tight. A barber I follow on Instagram posted a video showing the right gap, and I checked mine against it. My blades were basically scraping skin, no wonder some clients would get irritated after a fresh cut. I backed them off just a hair and suddenly my fades looked smoother and clients stopped complaining about burn. Has anyone else had that moment where you realize a tiny adjustment changes everything?

Buddy of mine did the same thing, now his clients don't flinch.

Yeah totally, confidence is contagious. Once you stop treating it like a big deal, they usually follow your lead. Just gotta act like you've done it a hundred times before even if it's your first.
