A client's one comment made me flip my blade angle completely

I used to keep my clipper blade at a steep tilt for faster fades, then a regular told me 'you're digging into my scalp, not cutting hair' after my 3rd visit and I checked my mirror work. I flattened the angle to almost parallel and now the blend comes out cleaner with way less pressure, anyone else adjust after a client pointed out something basic?
