The guy at the plant shop on 4th St asked why I water on a schedule, and I didn't have an answer
He said his basil dies every time he waters "every 3 days" no matter the weather, and that made me look at my own sad rosemary on the balcony. Started sticking a finger in the soil before grabbing the can, and it's the first thing that's survived a full summer up here. How do you all decide when to water with the weird wind we get on higher floors?
